Bella has long since learned the joys of having her humans give her attention. If there is a limit to her enjoyment of neck scratches, I haven't found it. The best (or seems to be, based on how long she will stay in this position) is when she hops on the bed and puts her whole head against my chest, with both of my hands giving her neck long, hard scratches. If we stay that way for more than 30 seconds or so, I have to be careful not to step back too quickly, or she'll overbalance from leaning on me so hard.
Apparently Mr. D has known this one for a while, although I've just discovered it. Right at the base of her tail, on either side is an itchy spot. If you scritch there, Bella will curl her whole body up into a "c" shape and sort of stagger around trying to keep it going.
Of course belly and chest rubs remain a favorite, and if she feels you haven't given her enough pats, rubs and attention, you will get batted by a paw. If you stop more than once, the stink-eye usually is turned on you - much like this!

Beryl loves neck scratches too. I think her favourite spot is around her hip bones and she kind of break dances when I start scratching there:) Of course belly rubs are bliss!
Bunny's favorite is to have under her chin and neck rubbed, although she doesn't have any spots that she doesn't like to have petted or scratched!

P.S. Bella, think you could teach me how to give that "stink eye"?
